Global Kinetics wins shot of $7.7million from Canberra – Australian Financial Review
The Australian Federal Government’s Biomedical Translation Fund has invested $7.7.million in the commercialization of GKC’s Parkinson’s KinetiGraph™ (PKG™) as the company makes inroads to obtaining reimbursement in the US.
The announcement on World Parkinson’s Day, coincides with the launch of landmark clinical study in Parkinson’s using Global Kinetics’ PKG™ technology. GKC has successfully secured funding from the high profile and leading international funder in Parkinson’s - The Michael J. Fox Foundation – as well as the Shake It Up Australia Foundation and Parkinson’s Victoria, to support this global project aiming to spark a paradigm shift in the treatment and management of Parkinson’s disease.
